You Matter

As I close my eyes and drift away to a land where there is love, health, peace, and blessings. I wanted to take the time to think and reflect.

     I was taking the time to reflect upon my previous thoughts, particularly the points about the preparation of future generations, who will eventually be care takers of the world. This is still quite true. I still stand firm with this thought, and hope future generations will be nourished to contribute, flourish, and even lead. However, whatever happened to me? I'm still alive, living and breathing!! 

     I mean that yes we must nourish the future care takers of the world, but we also have to remember that we, or adults, elders who are nourishing the future, and also taking care of this world exist as well. We too need to be nourished and care for ourselves, so that we are healthy, alive, and well, both physically and mentally.

Never Loose Your Inner Child.

​     Reading over my thoughts, I was reminded that I was in fact a young mother, when all my friends / cousins who were the same age as me were in university, working, or hanging out with friends, I was taking care of my children. At a young age, God gave me responsibility, with these responsibilities arrived a quickened sense of maturity. Today as I write these words, I don't write with an ounce or regret, I am grateful for my family, but I too must remind myself of the life that still exists within me.
