As I close my eyes and drift away to a land where there is love, health, peace, and blessings. I wanted to take the time to think and reflect.
As with any change of leadership within an organization, we can think about the shifts that occur, such as re-organization, delegation of tasks, as well as the leader who desires to infuse a style of leadership. That is aligned with personality, values, and the best interests of an organization. In a similar way, that same can be transferred to the level of Government. When administration changes, a new President is elected, or there are shuffles with the members. Present day examples can be seen. When still to this day we hear of impeachment, and resistance from opposing parties, and even the public themselves. Who has had to get familiar with a new leader. With a new President / Leadership also arrives the desire for making differences, creating an impact, or in other words: shaping and creating a new international / world order.
We can tie this thought to Venezuela's political crisis, or even Mexico who is being challenged with policy / demands from America, with the new Trump administration. Something that they might not be used to from previous leadership.
A few years earlier, we saw scholars or political analysts interested in China's rise, including many writings from Joseph Nye. Nye took various angles, including to view China's rise as something that should not be feared, but rather to see how nations would react to the rise. But I thought about the rise. The rise of China was never really created alone by China. We can think about how western countries influenced to create this rise. For years we have seen companies outsourcing to China, and investing in China. We can think of multi-national, international organizations, including technological. We can further add China's imports of oil from Venezuela. I included Venezuela to my discussion, as an addition to my previous research, because it is important for Venezuelan politics, and even if there is a change in leadership. Here we can further question: How did Venezuela contribute to China's rise?
But even if there is a rise in China as scholars / political analysts predicted, it would also suggest a rise for other nations. For the changing and creating of a "new" international order, that arrives at the level of nation, and even the globe; it cannot mean that there are cuts to a nation, or even isolating that nation. If America wants to assist Venezuela with its political crisis, it all also mean recognizing the relations that Venezuela had to form, when in a sense that nation decided to detach itself from what we could call: Venezuela's "big brother". Whilst there might be tensions with America and China, there is also opportunity for America with China, should they choose to further intervene and assist with Venezuela, depending on how each countries foreign policy mingles with objectives, and international strategy. Ultimately Venezuela's Politics or regime change will affect relations with other nations.
