The Embassy Move.

As I close my eyes and drift away to a land where there is love, health, peace, and blessings. I wanted to take the time to think and reflect. 

     Yesterday we witnessed the opening of the U.S. embassy in Jerusalem. While I was to the point about my disapproval. 

I began to question my own point of view. Does it matter where the embassy is located anyway? To tell you the truth I don't think it does. Being there simply means that the U.S. embassy is in Jerusalem to serve those who require services. But what added to the physical re-location were the contexts that were given, such as the Trump administration proclaiming that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. To tell you another truth: what business does President Trump have to put a claim on a nation, that does not even belong to him? Is he superior? Is he God? But why does it matter? It matters because with this Israel is given implicit authority, and power, that creates a significant Imbalance between a nation that belongs to Palestinian Muslims / Arabs as well. So as a result we saw deaths of Palestinian Muslim Arabs, who were opposing this move, with an accompanied declaration from President Trump. It's like a nosey Parker, wanting to stir up trouble, and cause more havoc to a nation that is already tense, and troubled. That's exactly what we saw.

    And what did we hear? No response, absolute silence about these deaths. So I question: Why is the Trump administration condemning the Church bombings in Indonesia, and then creating such support with those who identify as Jews? Where are his loyalties? Where does the loyalty of President Trump lie? The nation of America? His Daughter Ivanka Trump? His Son-in-Law Kushner, or Israel? The physical re-location of the embassy in Jerusalem was not for American interests, it was for President Trump's interests, to secure his own family, and wealthy son-in-law. 

     So as we think about the turmoil, loyalties swaying within a nation, is it surprising when we have such case examples happening in the highest office? If we think about the humans, desperate, anxious voices, powerless, fighting for their rights - who died in this violence? Israel is not only responsible, but so is the Trump administration, and all who supported this move. You all have blood on your hands, because you did nothing to assure or include the Palestinians. And as for Benjamin Netanyahu, you have fallen for trickery, from a President who is using his power for further divisions.  

     A message of hope: In the name of our most loved Jesus, I pray for peace, for the sake of the Holy lands, and to all who have been affected with severe violence, regardless of the religious beliefs that are held. I ask that all see past the divisions that leaders are trying to create. May God correct the wrongs of those humans, so that at last there can be have peace.
