Simple: Back To Love.

As I close my eyes and drift away to a land where there is love, health, peace, and blessings. I wanted to take the time to think and reflect.

I think that as human thinkers sometimes we tend to overthink, especially as matters that are simple as love, yet so deeply complicated. Sometimes we wish that love was simple the electromagnetic waves that attract another, but of course after the initial attraction that flows electrically through our blood, and all over our body, love becomes complicated. Or should it?

What if we were to remind ourselves of the essence of love on a daily basis? What if were were to love each other as if we were going to loose each other? Would humans take each other for granted or not? This is a thought that came to mind, when I finished watching the film The Ottoman Lieutenant.

Even after the hardships of war, grief stricken, misery and death, Hera Hilmar, (Anna Karenina), an American doctor and Ismail, (Michiel Huisman) find a way to keep the presence of love alive, by shrouding themselves in each others love. Seeing beyond the differences of Christianity, and Muslim religious beliefs; selflessly realizing that there was a purpose, a supernatural purpose as Ismail passes away.

Bound in service to the Ottoman Empire, to the people of the war-torn lands, she becomes who she loves. And even after the death of Ismail she is immersed in his love, sacrificing herself to his service.

Love is not complicated, but is constructed to be thought that it is. Maybe it's humans themselves who make love complicated? I think that when we forsake each other for a higher purpose, the complexities return to simplicity, similar to the clothing of a shroud, immersed in each others eternal love.

My thoughts to share with love & Kindness! :)

Every precious thing is rare, so we need to take care of it once we already have it. Before, I used to be so reckless about the people around me. I tend to underestimate them and I wasn't really appreciative that time. But growing old made me mature too. I realized that we need to take care of those people who genuinely care for us. It's also okay to look at the quality more than the quantity. Having a lot of friends would be nothing if it's fake!
