A Little Bit
What Now?

As I close my eyes and drift away to a land where there is love, health, peace,e and blessings. I wanted to take the time to think and reflect.

The truth is that I have been reflecting on what it takes for the completion of post-secondary / higher education, and through this process I was reminded of how the the financial factor can act as an emotional barrier. When resources become limited, students begin to shift the focus upon survival, thus acting as a personal and academic barrier. However, it is also important to be aware that students can also become the victims of hackers. This is exactly what happened to me, as I began a fresh term. Individuals posed as tax collectors, and governmental officials, to scam me out of a chunk of money. When people heard this story, they said to me: how could you let this happen, or why did you fall for their tricks? The only response that I could give, is that they were good at convincing me, and planned everything very carefully. This incident can be connected to the film 50 Shades Freed. Ana is bribed by Hyde, he instructs her so carefully and instills fear within her. Luckily for Ana there were others who became aware of the plot, and helped to save her. But what this scene reveals is the emotional impact, that hackers can have upon a persons normal behaviour and thought processes.

Hackers are well-trained. They interfere with the rational thought process. It is fortunate for me, that while all this did take place, causing emotional and financial constraints, I was able to complete my courses. I am not sharing this experience to gain sympathy, but rather to reveal the impact and delivery method of the money to the hackers, which was crypto currency. While there might be great benefits of using these money technologies for investment, savings, and so on, there is also the side where those who are versed in these, are using them to play around with them for the wrong reasons. This is not to say that these technologies should stop, but should rather serve to alert those who are involved in these industries. Manipulations do exist. Technology have increased benefits for communications, learning, and so one, but human beings also use technology advancements for their own selfish, personal gains at the expense of others.

My thoughts to share with love & kindness! :)
