As I close my eyes and drift away to a land where there is love, health, peace, and blessings. I wanted to take the time to think and reflect.
The truth is that I was thinking about the idea of owning a flaw. This stems from the thought that human beings are imperfect beings, we have both strengths and weaknesses. Once the weaknesses (or strengths) are identified we arrive into the realm of self - awareness. Allowing us to work upon these weaknesses, to build them into strengths. This is the beauty of human beings, to be able to continuously learn and grow. Mistakes or flaws are not necessarily good or bad, they are showing that we are human.
These thoughts can be related to decisions that are taken by nations, and their leaders. As with the human life at the individual level, we did not receive a manuel to say how one should live when we are born, the same is with a nation. A leader is not given a book to say this is how to lead a nation. Of course rules and regulations are there such as the American Constitution. However, rules and regulations are constantly re - making and formulating because of social innovations, advancements, progressions, and societal shifts.
These thoughts can also be transferred to that of responses to war, terror attacks, and threats. These are trials and errors as well, because we don't really know what will happen when a response is produced. At the level of the individual it is easier to work upon improvements, to build upon weaknesses to create them into strengths. However, at the level of the collective, nations, or even world leadership, the issue is more complex. We are juggling with complicated histories, and even past hurts, this is not to say that there cannot be healing from past histories.
Once again we are reminded of the need for open discussions, and dialogues. The creating of a better, brighter, flourishing tomorrow requires open mindedness, because we have to think do we want to simply re-write a past? Yes, we must honor histories, cultivate and preserve the treasures. Yet, the sort of future that is envisioned also demands to be respected. The respect to be created.
Dedication: The words of this being are dedicated to everyone who desires a better future, and to all who are in the process of working and improving upon their goals. My thoughts to share with love & kindness! :)
