Building Bonds

As I close my eyes and drift away to a land where there is love, health, peace, and blessings. I wanted to take the time to think and reflect.

The truth is that the other day I wrote about bonds between family, loved ones, and connections. I concluded these thoughts by saying that human beings must cling to to these bonds with love and affection. There are varying degrees to the "clinging part". For example: When we have a natural bond such as that of a brother, sister, or a parent; the bond is automatic. However, the strength and depth of this bond is determined by how it is maintained. Culture, religion, or ethnicity will also contribute to how these bonds develop, maintain, and hopefully survive. With the human bonds that we create, this biological element is not present. This thought can be taken at the spiritual level as well, we often think of bonds that arrive from God, source, energy, spirit, as souls united. Depending on our beliefs, what we value, or what we view as truth, the created bonds need to be maintained. Sometimes we might loosen the grip, or hold on too tightly. Human created bonds also carry with them an amount of vulnerability. In other words we allow the self, spirit, soul to become vulnerable, so that we can attach to form the human bonds, connection, or commitments. Sometimes that bonds form to relational bonds. Once again we can take these thoughts to the level of the spirit, God, source energy. We are led by our higher consciousness, where bonds solidify for a purpose, a calling, a call from the spirit, source, God. We could even say that human created bonds will survive more that biological bonds, because of this fragility.

Natural bonds already possess the biological element. We sometimes take these for granted, and even loose these because of family breakdowns. But what if we extended the thought of family breakdown, to think about how families could continue to stay united even if there was a break down? Of course there is going to be a period where the messiness of breakdowns happen. But after the back and forth exchanges have taken place: What if we still cling to these bonds in the view of a spiritual family? Families that are not your perfect nuclear family, but want to keep good communication.

I think that it is possible to achieve. If, but, when, why, and how are questions that do require thought and deliberation. However, repairs can and do happen, but with these we have to  remember that everyone does not think the same. We have this movement, and freedom of thought. Even if there is no repair, we should never let our human pride, ego, make us so bitter that we forget that when all is said and done, we are all human. We are all social beings, and we are all spiritual beings. The level that we crave attachments, or the silence will vary depending on how vulnerable, fragile, or secure we feel in the bonds that are given, and the bonds that are formed.

My thoughts to share with love & kindness! :)

Notes: These thoughts were originally hand-written on August 2nd, 2018.
