As I was walking in Westfield Mall, New York, I came across a poster in a shop window as shown:

I immediately took a photograph of this poster, and felt so happy to read these words. Truly does hate have a home? Does it? Hate does not have a home, it was never an intended emotion, because we were not born with this. Hate is learned, acquired through conditioning and human experience. The challenge really is how are we going to face dispositions, or times where there are conflicts. It is easy, much more easier to resort to violence.

Violence is the act of a mediocre mind, it does not display intelligence. Intelligence is what separates human beings from animals. If violence is the resort then what difference is there between humans and animals? It takes more courage, strength, bravery to commit to active dialogues to create understandings, than to resort to violence.

The Manchester attacks are an absolute evil, a display of an egotistical power, that decides to use power, force for death and killing. No religion / faith preaches death, these acts can never, and should never be equated to any religion. To the groups that have carried out these attacks, you are an insult to a peaceful faith and religion, you have put shame to the very faith you preach.

To the victims, the ones who have lost their lives, to all who were present at the Ariana Grande concert: No words can ever replace your suffering or loss. We pray for you, we send our love, condolences and heartfelt thoughts at this time of loss.

Dedicated to a country mourning, asking questions, pondering, wondering about this non-sensical violence. To all who have been affected, with sincerity, love & kindness, our heartfelt thoughts.
