These past few weeks have truly been a testing time. From the day of thanksgiving when 2 National Football players were shot, to the fatal Brazil plane crash, to yesterday when I heard of the news of another Ex - NFL athlete who was shot. When I heard this news I was in class, checked my phone during the break. I have to say I was not feeling the same. Excited to present my research proposal to the class, the great comments. Suddenly all became a blur, shadowed. As my eyes began to stare, a blank. Concentration once again plumeted. A hearts cry. My heart sank. Everyday these shootings. One day after another, it truly has to stop. These are not only athletes who represent a team, or a country, they are also someone's brother, uncle, son, or a father.
