It was deeply saddening to learn of the recent airline crash of Ethiopian MAX 737, when in an instant 157 individuals from a variety of nationalities are proclaimed dead in an instant. Mass death not only takes an immediate toll on those involved, but also upon a societal level, where there are questions asked as to why, which invokes trauma upon the psychological level. No one desires to depart the journey of happiness to know that it will end with death. But that is the thing about life, you really truly don't know what is going to happen next, not even in your very next moment.

As I continue to share my thoughts with those departed, I think about all the variety of nationalities aboard the airplane and wonder, if the varieties could sit together and embark upon a journey together, and even die together. Could we as humans in their remembrance live together in love, peace and harmony in the variety our nationalities?
