Dear United States Of America,
0 Comments
As I close my eyes and drift away to a land where there is love, health, peace, and blessings. I wanted to take the time to think and reflect about my previous thoughts. Especially the thoughts with regards to the fact that all, and still most of my university years have been spent studying and taking care of our family. However, during my years, I wanted to continue to share my thoughts. That's the beauty of creativity. I just wanted to share and that's what I did. The irony is that this Little turtle (me) has landed herself world attention. WOW can you believe it. The person who was just sharing to have her voice heard, is now gaining world attention in her tiny little tweets. That makes me feel SO happy. It is showing that sharing on a global platform is necessary for all educators who desire to make a difference, to make a contribution. This is a great responsibility placed on the shoulders of all who desire to improve the generations that are awaiting. When I first started sharing or being on Twitter. I felt that there was too much noise. As a creative thinker, I felt that sometimes there was just too many ideas. Not that I didn't appreciate the ideas, I did. But for me if was mind breaking, because I already have too much ideas, spilling all over. My blog was my helper. Helping me to somehow control the overflow of ideas. I couldn't cope alone with all of the noise. But I did not want to leave the world wide web of sharing through twitter. Then I remember Fred Cuellar followed me. And it was through his follow, mentor-ship and leadership that I found serenity. His tweets offered serenity. With daily good wishes, accompanied with images. That's all I needed. His #Fredisms made me think. It was in a single tweet with an image that kept me moving forward. His thoughts were in a sense developing my own thoughts. This is the beauty of twitter. We can make a connection, that is life changing. Our circumstances on twitter may have changed. I don't question if and why, I do know that Fred Cuellar and the relationship that we have both created through our twitter journey has been life changing for both of us, friends and family. And probably the world as well. What remains in the heart can never be altered. Through the good times and times of learning. Love is a development. It is a molding. It is the willingness to work through and stay committed even in the times where there is a disagreement. The beauty of Fred Cuellar is that to this day all I know is that he is the Diamond Guy Fred Cuellar and a remarkable loving human being. All of my learning about the trials of the divided America were figured out by me. I wrote to some, I traveled here and there. To come to a realization that America is divided. It broke my heart to learn this. He is the best teacher, because he never forced an opinion upon me, allowed me to think and discover everything for myself. Dedication: The words of this being are dedicated to Fred Cuellar. Thank you for your guidance, mentorship and leadership. Infinity :) They are also dedicated to all beings. We learn through loving. My thoughts to share with love & kindness! :) Notes: These thoughts were originally hand written on November 7th 2016 Image 1 - Weblink Rise Up for Humanity. As I close my eyes and drift away to a land where there is love, health, blessings and peace. I wanted to take the time to think and reflect. The truth is that I have been taking the time to think and reflect about turning points that happen within one's life. Yesterday in a Facebook post I shared the following post: As I was writing this thought, I thought about rejections. Who has not been rejected in life? Everyone is rejected in some sort of way or fashion in their lives. Sometimes when this happens we find it difficult to formulate new relationships because of past rejections. However, I think that rejections are sometimes healthy. We think something is good for us, but really it is not. When we have felt this on our journey of life, we should simply say: That was not for me. Rejections are simply lessons for us to move towards what has been placed in the heart. Worldly events happen everyday, there are hurts that happen on the external level, but this is the beauty of the heart. Can anyone stop what has been placed within the heart? Sometimes we ourselves stop this. Yet, even when we do this, the yearnings that are within still continue to exist. This is the beauty of the heart. No one can stop what is within the heart. Lately I have been sharing the hash tags #RiseUp, this is from the Atlanta Falcons football team. I really like the idea of each team having their own positive hashtag to share. These act as positive unifiers Even when we feel that the external hurts are much more to bear, when we unify the self with positive affirmations, we are moving away from the position of hate, hurt, or frustrations to focus on the positives. Everyone needs to focus on the positive, even if the world is shaken. We must remain strong. Whatever stirs within will release itself from the internal to the external.
In the same sense the positive affirmations that are used by sports teams can be applied to everyone. We are all seeking betterment. Everyone has goals, we must remain focused. We have to remain focused if we seek to achieve our goals. Sometimes we have to shut out the external noise. Rather than fighting an opposition, we should focus on where we are trying to go. This does not mean we should not be aware of oppositions, we should be aware of this, but it should not hinder what we want to achieve, be and do. As students, athletes, or anyone who is trying to achieve a goal. We have to be selective about how we are spending our time. Who we are sharing our time with. We have to be selective. In other words, we cannot please everyone. This is a reality, but it does not mean that we don't care. Our vision encompasses all who desire a peaceful, prosperous tomorrow.Much of my university life has been spent studying, and focusing on our family. We become the manager or CEO if you will of our household. We are negotiating our own self - development, and being present for our family. This is why I am so grateful for the Chicago Cubs win. The future is the children. Whatever we do today, we must seek the goodness, The future belongs to the children. As adults who are placed in a position of leadership and responsibility, we have a great responsibility to do what is best for the generations that are awaiting. What do you want the future of tomorrow to look like? Are we taking the necessary steps today to cultivate a brighter tomorrow? We must think and choose wisely. We are placed with a great decision upon us. It is only ethical and moral that we choose wisely. It is our social responsibility to do so. Race, ethnicity, religion, gender or sexuality are all like a collage. The beautiful pieces that make our human family. Our future deserves the truth. With all of the knowing realities, the truths about the destructive forces that have revealed. We must decide that treachery, greed and envy should never be at the forefront when we are making a decision about the human family. We must put our human family first. We cannot allow a treachery to continue once it has come to surface. This in itself is unethical. We are going against the moral landscape of being human, when we align the self with treason. It is the corrupt human nature at it's best. In a sense we are sabotaging future generations when anyone decides to align with treason. This is why when we are making a decision about humanity, we must put humanity first. Put the good of individuals, communities, and societies first. Do we want to continue a cycle of treachery, treason and disgust? As adults we must never align ourselves with this. Dedication: The words of this being are dedicated to beautiful Kayla Gomez who was 10 years old. She went missing. He remains were found. This news was absolutely heartbreaking. We send our love and support to all family members, and a community who begins to question, and digest the extent of this suffering. My thoughts to share with love & kindness. I wanted to take the time to think and reflect. The truth is that I am absolutely ecstatic about the Chicago Cubs baseball victory. I was so overcome with joy, watching the game and also seeing the fans reactions, it was such a mesmerizing feeling. I can only imagine the energy and buzz at the Wrigley baseball Field, the city in Chicago, and fans all around the world. What made me happy was seeing fans here, wearing the Chicago Cubs clothing and hats. This victory was felt across the globe. This is no ordinary victory. It offered a hope for the everyone, who finally won to re-claim the title of the world series after 108 years. This is quite incredible. For me, their winning was actually quite personal. I love all of the players and the teams, but this win was unique. It is very special. It signaled a deep caring, and commitment towards a brighter tomorrow for the generations before who are committed fans, and also the generations that are to arrive, the children, the cubs of the future. It has offered a hope to this city, which has been plagued with so many shootings and deaths. Following this series has been a great learning experience for me. It has highlighted the importance of the game to me. It has taught me it importance and impact on a cultural level, I am grateful for this learning. It is with these words, I share your happiness, dear teams, fans, supporters, and all of the great individuals who had an impact upon this game. To both teams, to reach the finals is a great achievement in itself. To the winners we are so proud of your victory. Thank you for this hope to you city, and our country. Historic Moments in the making - :) Yay Chicago Parade!!!!!! Dedication: Congratulations dear Chicago Cubs. Sharing this victory together. And to both teams, in victory and in defeat you are honored. I wanted to take the time to think and reflect about the act of writing. The truth is that when everyone writes, or communicates in a certain way - what are we doing? We are sharing our story, a part of who we are. This presents a positive because individuals can learn from the stories that we share. However, it also presents a type of danger as well. We are putting ourselves in the midst of revealing a bareness that is subject to public scrutiny. This is why we have to be mindful about what we share on a public platform. Do we want our learning to be shared via a website? Yes, for the purposes of teaching and learning. I think that as educators we have a certain amount of social responsibility, and feel obligated to do so. However, just because a person is an educator. It does not mean that there is no personal history, or a personal story. We all have a story to share. How we got to where we are now. Just because it is not made public via the web, it does not mean that a person has something to hide. Maybe there is a desire to share via another avenue. Or maybe the story is not simply ready to be shared. Sometimes thoughts may not ask to become public. Sometimes, it is better to keep specific thoughts private. No one is obligated to share. And just because it is not shared, it does not mean that there is something to hide. Writing is a very personal act. When we write, we are uniting a public self with the private self. There is almost a divinity that is unfolding upon the page. Everyone has a story Just because it is not laid bare, It does not mean that there is something to hide. The Process Is My Story. - #Shazism My thoughts to share with love & kindness! :) Notes: These thoughts were originally hand - written on October 31st, 2016. Please note - These thoughts are relevant my our own experience of being human, They are not related to no other being. The Strength Of Unity - Vision As I close my eyes ans drift away to a land where there is love, health, peace, and blessings. I wanted to take the time to think and reflect. Once again the desire - my previous thoughts. I was thinking about the investor and the idea of change. Or in my words, continuous improvement. Change or continuous improvement is actually a tough decision for investors, because there is a certain amount of risk, vs. return that we have to think about. What are the risks of implementing or subtracting a certain measure? These thoughts are a reflection of individual investors, small companies, or even large scale corporations. We have to do a risk analysis. But then what about the economy on a larger scale? What about the markets? The markets are also dependent upon the investor. However, they also face the uncertainty that is driven through the events of the world. The global economy can be compared to that of the world wide web. It is so intricately related. Maybe, the person who does not have a keen interest in the markets does not know this. Yet, everyone has a stake when it comes down to the Global economy. A disruption may not immediately effect the consumer, it will be likely to follow. A classic example of this is the Brexit decision. The value of the pound sterling has significantly dropped. The effects have had an impact upon people who will loose their jobs, as well as a shrinking economy. However, there was also an opportunity here for the investor, to begin to invest into Britain, and tap into markets where there are consumer demands. Yet, there is also the risk that comes along with the unknown and uncertainty. In the same sense we can think about the cause of humanity. When leaders begin to implement a new policy, or begin trade with other countries, there is a certain amount of risk. There is also a certain amount of return. We can think about this though through the following diagram. There will be a point where we accrue loss, and there will be a point where there is profit earned. Where the two points cross. This is called the break - even point. Similar to the investor who desires to build a company. The Governmental policy can be assimilated to that of a company. There will be risk. There will be returns. There will be a time that the reaping of the reward will not be seen, because of the time it takes for implementation. This is not to say that the desire for improvements cannot be achieved. The achievements take time and do not happen at the singular level, maybe initially. Nothing can really happen well without the development of good relationships. We have to build these relationships of trust, an alignment. To be able to foresee a vision at the level of the collective.
This is what all great visionaries had in common. It was not the fact that they were, or are very affluent to begin with. It was their faith. The belief that they had in their vision. And it was also the ability to communicate this vision to others effectively. Dedication: These words are dedicated to all beings. Let us work together to build a hope, to develop the vision of peace, and prosperity for all beings. Great visions may begin with the select few, but evolve and shape through the loyalty of the vision, at the level of communal. Let us ensure that systemic racism never occurs again. Below is an excerpt from a paper that was written with regards to the history of Latin America. Through this time there was racism socially embedded through a concept know as positivism. Please read the following. |
